Before initializing the manufacturing process, our Raw Materials purchased are thoroughly inspected and chemically testedand once the raw materials are quality passed, it goes for manufacturing process to get best the quality material finished goods.

During the initial stage of primary steel making HMS, Sponge Iron, Pig Iron, Silico Manganese and other raw materials are mixed in required proportion and are fed to Induction Furnace through magnetic crane feeder for refining by melting the raw materials at an required heat of approx 1370 degrees Celsius. After the raw materials are melted out to form a pool of molten metal, the molten metal is transferred to ladle for continues casting process.

Hot billet is then passed or deformed between a set of work rolls revolving at the same speed, but in opposite directions. The distance between the work rolls is slightly less than that of the passing metal which allows for thinning. Hot rolling permits large deformations of the metal to be achieved with a low number of rolling cycles. Hot rolled material typically does not require annealing and the high temperature will prevent residual stress from accumulating in the material resulting better dimensional stability than cold worked materials.

Hot rolling is primarily concerned with manipulating material shape and geometry rather than mechanical properties. This is achieved by heating a component or material to its upper critical temperature and then applying controlled load which forms the material to a desired specification or size.

• The process involves converting the stock viz. Miss Rolls Slab, Ingots/billets to desired finished section in hot condition by way of passing the material between a pair of grooved rolls and providing suitable draft at various stages. The whole operation is conducted at a particular temperature range and within a limited time span.
